María Laura García, dueña de la mayor empresa de medición de las comunicaciones y monitoreo de medios de América Latina (Globalnews), presentó “El Desafío Digital” durante una masterclass que dió centrada en la “Inteligencia digital e informativa para la toma de decisiones” y en el marco de una jornada con foco “en el uso de la inteligencia artificial (IA) en la toma de decisiones” que se desarrolló en la sede Campus de la Universidad Siglo 21 de Córdoba.
La autora indaga en su ópera prima conceptos como infodemia, infocracia, fake news, deep fakes, burbujas informativas, desinformación, híper-segmentación, sesgos algorítmicos, stress informativo y detox digital, entre otras temáticas, para que los lectores puedan luego “informarse, pensar y decidir libremente en la era cibernética”.
“Este trabajo de divulgación tiene como finalidad comprender todas las aristas de estos fenómenos para compartir con el lector las principales herramientas que le permitirán convertirse en un ciudadano informado y con autonomía sobre sus elecciones. Espero colaborar con la alfabetización cultural y que el lector desarrolle la capacidad de entender e interpretar los nuevos desafíos que plantea la digitalización”, sostiene María Laura García, Directora del Certificado en Inteligencia Digital e Informativa para Toma de Decisiones de la Universidad Siglo 21.
El libro de Editorial Granica, que ya se encuentra disponible para ser descargado en las plataformas de Amazon y Google, también se encuentra a la venta en Miami (Estados Unidos), tanto en español como en inglés, y estará disponible -en los próximos meses- en Uruguay, España y México.
