De esta manera, “Todo lo que pasó antes de que llegaras” adquirió el Premio Bologna Ragazzi, uno de los galardones fundamentales de la literatura infantil. El reconocimiento distingue los mejores libros para niños y jóvenes publicados en todo el mundo, destacando “la calidad de su diseño gráfico editorial, la innovación y el equilibrio, junto con su capacidad para crear un diálogo con los lectores jóvenes”.
Cabe destacar que la obra fue elegida entre 2349 títulos presentados por 644 editoriales de 59 países y regiones de todo el mundo. Así, su autora, la argentina Yael Frankel, suma una nueva distinción a las ya otorgadas por otros libros como A simple vista, seleccionado para el catálogo White Raven. También Contame más, ganador del premio al mejor libro álbum otorgado por ALIJA IBBY Argentina. O El ascensor, ganador del primer premio del Festival de Literatura para niños de Sharjah, Emiratos Árabes, y de la Feria Internacional del Libro Infantil de Moscú.
El Bologna Ragazzi será entregado en marzo próximo, cuando del 5 al 8 del mes se desarrolle la 60° edición de la Feria del Libro Infantil de Bolonia, donde además participarán varias figuras de la ilustración mundial.
Sobre la Feria Internacional del Libro Infantil de Bologna
Argentina participará con un stand promovido por la Cámara del Libro y la Cancillería, del que serán parte las editoriales Eudeba, Calibroscopio, Iamique, Libros del Zorzal, AZ, La Brujita de Papel, Betina, Bianca Ediciones y Limonero.
Además, tendrá lugar otro espacio fundamental que es la Exposición de Ilustradores y formar parte de los “Winning Ilustrators” en esta muestra es un premio importante también.
Este año se eligieron 79 conjuntos de ilustraciones de 80 artistas de 28 países y territorios del mundo, entre 4.345 artistas participantes de todo el mundo. Y, de los seleccionados, hay 6 argentinos: Mariana Ruiz Johnson, Cristian Turdera, Pablo Alvarez, María José De Tellería, Laila Ekboir, María Elina Méndez.
